Color touch ups in Photoshop
This was an extreme closeup of a flower my girlfriend had brought for me to shoot for her. Considering that this was shot without a macro lens, still just the kit lens, I think it came out pretty damn good. I'm still working on a collection of shots of this flower because I took so many to make sure I got some good ones.
Color adjustment really brought out the fire and texture in this shot. All in all, I'm really happy with it.

Awesome! I really want to get into floral photography and show the great detail in the flowers. I'll probably be needing a different camera though.
